Ashleigh Urban

Ashleigh is such an inspiring young rider and has been with BRP since almost the very beginning in 2013. Being selected as one of my very first sponsored riders, Ashleigh has shown tremendous talent, dedication and best of all, a hugely kind heart. Starting out with her beautiful gelding Cazoo and successfully campaigning him for many years, she is now on to her young mount Ella "Quaterbella K". Ashleigh and her beautiful mum Tracey absolutely adore their horses and have done a phenomenal job training Ella. I am so excited to see what 2019 brings for this dream team!

Here is what Ashleigh has to say about her 2018 competition year and her future.

"2017 was a great year for Quaterbella K and I. We managed to win the Australian Youth Novice Dressage Champion and step up to Elementary level with great success.

2018 started a little rocky, with Ella having to have emergency surgery to save her eye. About 3 months later she was back on the competition scene for our best year yet. Quaterbella K and I won the Elementary class at NAGS 2*, EGCC 2*, EGCC 1*, QLD Youth State Championships, 2X RASDEG officials, CDG 2* YR, and we were recently awarded with Elementary Young Rider of the year and Runner up Elementary Horse of the year! At the start of 2018 I would have never imagined we could achieve all of this but Ella is the definition of a war horse and never lets me down. We also had our first medium start in 2018, and I was thrilled to receive scores of 67%.

In 2019, we will compete Medium level and I am hoping to have an advanced start by September. I am extremely grateful to be a Blue Ribbon sponsored Rider again in 2019, Brittney is so incredibly talented and I feel very privileged to be a part of her team."
